All the time I hear cows moo. But why? Why did they choose moo?
Cows moo because they simply couldn't say poo. With their big teeth and icky tongues they just couldn't make the "puh"
sound.
Well, why were they trying to say poo?
There is a lot of poo around cows! First, they let the dogs out a lot. So that makes them say it. Also, have you ever
heard of cow-pie bingo? That's when cows are let loose on a bingo board, and wherever number they happen to "go" on is the
winning number. It's a cool game, and just makes the cows want to say poo more.
Also, many farmers are unhappy with the cattle that are born. So then, out of dissapointment, they may say, "Oh, poo!"
That means that the first words a calf is introduced to is poo!
